Nurse Practitioner Services

A Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse who has completed advanced nursing education and training in the diagnosis and management of common medical conditions. Nurse practitioners provide a broad range of health care services in Ontario. A Nurse Practitioner can order select diagnostic tests and prescribe certain medications for their patients in a walk-in clinic. We understand with the shortage of medical practitioners in Thunder Bay you cannot always see your medical provider in a timely manner.
