Home Visits
Patients leaving the hospital or their physician’s office may have several new medications to work into their routine. This can be confusing or overwhelming. It may be difficult for these clients to visit the Pharmacy. Janzen’s Pharmacists will consult with you at your home to make sure that you understand how and when to take your medication and what each medication is for. If you need to access the service of our nurse practitioner through our walk-in clinic and are house-bound for any reason, please call us to arrange for our nurse practitioner to visit your home. This service is ideal for:
- Easing the transition from hospital to home
- People with medical conditions which make it difficult to get out of their home
- Elderly patients who find it difficult to visit the pharmacy regularly
- People who require medicine cabinet clean-up and drug disposal services
